Carlos Gracie Jr.: My life is dedicated to Jiu-Jitsu. My ultimate goal has always been to build a brotherhood that leads the expansion of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu while wholeheartedly respecting the essence of our art. Consequently, my students are more than just practitioners; they are an extension of my family. Moreover, I strive to ensure that each one of them achieves their personal best, all the while contributing to the spread of Jiu-Jitsu.

We must do this while honoring the traditions and efforts of those who came before us. Therefore, Gracie Barra is not just an organization but a worldwide community of Jiu-Jitsu instructors, students, and athletes. Today, our organization is proudly built by over 1000 schools spread across six continents. Additionally, as we continue to grow, we remain committed to upholding the values and principles that have guided us from the beginning. Consequently, every step we take is a tribute to the legacy of our predecessors and a commitment to fostering a global network where Jiu-Jitsu can flourish. In this spirit of unity and dedication, Gracie Barra continues to shape the future of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, ensuring that our cherished art form thrives for generations to come.

IVAN ROCHA

Born on January 17, 1983, in Belo Horizonte, MG, Ivan Rocha is a renowned 3rd-degree black belt with 24 years of practice in Jiu-Jitsu. Ivan is married to Camila, and together they have a son, Gregor, who is 13 years old and already following in his father’s footsteps in Jiu-Jitsu as a yellow belt. Additionally, the family shares a passion for the sport and the lifestyle that Jiu-Jitsu provides, dedicating themselves to the practice and teaching of this martial art. Moreover, Ivan’s career is marked not only by personal achievements but also by the significant impact he has had on the development of Jiu-Jitsu internationally. Consequently, his influence extends far beyond his own practice, contributing to the global growth and recognition of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Furthermore, his dedication and expertise continue to inspire and guide both new and experienced practitioners around the world.
